REFUND POLICY

At Dandelions Digital Marketing Prints and Media, we strive to provide high-quality services that meet your needs and expectations. However, we understand that situations may arise where you may request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our Services.  

1. Service-Specific Refund Terms:

Please note that due to the nature of our diverse Services, specific refund terms may apply to individual services. These terms will be clearly communicated to you in your service agreement, proposal, or order confirmation. In the event of any conflict between this general Refund Policy and the service-specific terms, the service-specific terms will prevail.

Here are some general guidelines for refunds, but please always refer to your specific service agreement:

  • Internet-Based Marketing Services (Website Creation, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing):
  • Refunds for setup fees may be considered if cancellation occurs before significant work has commenced.
  • For ongoing monthly services, cancellations made within a specified timeframe (e.g., within the first 30 days of the billing cycle) may be eligible for a partial refund for the unused portion of that month, minus any costs incurred.
  • No refunds will be issued for completed work or services already rendered.
  • Amazon Book Ranking Review:
  • Due to the subjective nature of reviews, refunds are generally not offered once the review process has begun.
  • Book Promotion & Distribution Services (Query Letter Distribution, Bookstore Placement, Bookstore Placement and Distribution & Publishing Services, Book Fair Participation):
  • Refunds for these services will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering the stage of the process and any non-recoverable costs incurred (e.g., distribution fees, printing costs, book fair registration fees).
  • For Bookstore Placement and Distribution & Publishing Services, significant upfront work may limit the possibility of a full refund.
  • Book Publishing & Media Services (Book Publishing/Re-Publishing, Book Trailer):
  • Refunds for publishing services will depend on the stage of the publishing process. Once significant work such as editing, formatting, cover design, or ISBN assignment has commenced, a full refund may not be possible. Partial refunds may be considered based on the work completed and costs incurred.
  • For Book Trailer services, refunds may be considered if cancellation occurs before the commencement of video production. Once production begins, refunds may be limited based on the work completed.

2. General Refund Conditions:

Regardless of the specific service, the following general conditions apply to all refund requests:

  • Written Request: All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the issue arising or the service completion date (as applicable).
  • Clear Explanation: Your refund request must clearly state the reason for the request and provide sufficient detail to allow us to assess the situation.
  • Our Assessment: We will review all refund requests carefully and make a determination based on the specific circumstances, the terms of your service agreement, and the work completed.
  • No Refund for Dissatisfaction with Subjective Elements: Refunds will generally not be granted based on subjective dissatisfaction with creative elements (e.g., design aesthetics, marketing copy tone) if the services were delivered according to the agreed-upon specifications and within reasonable professional standards.
  • Third-Party Costs: We are not responsible for refunding any fees paid directly to third parties (e.g., printing costs, advertising platform fees) as part of the Services.

3. Refund Process:

If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 30 business days. The refund will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed upon. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund and for the funds to appear in your account.  

4. Cancellation of Services by You:

If you choose to cancel a service before its completion, the refund policy outlined in your specific service agreement will apply. In general, cancellation may result in a partial refund depending on the amount of work completed and costs incurred.

5. Cancellation of Services by Us:

We reserve the right to cancel our Services at any time. In the event that we cancel a service for reasons other than your breach of the service agreement, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for any prepaid services that have not been rendered.

7. Changes to This Refund Policy:

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post any revised Refund Policy on our Site and update the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy. Your continued engagement with our Services after the posting of a revised Refund Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
